Netanya's mayor appealed to school principal Haim Guri to immediately stop the work of a teacher who shared pro-Hamas videos on social media. She is an Arabic teacher who lives in one of the Arab communities in the Sharon region and teaches in Netanya. Among other things, she shared a video purportedly showing children dying in Gaza compared to only minor injuries in Israel.

"I strongly condemn any inciting statement against the Jewish people and against the IDF and security forces," the mayor said. "I contacted the principal of the school today and demanded the immediate termination of the teacher's work."

A complaint on the matter was also forwarded to the management of the Ministry of Education.

Feirberg also wrote to the president of Netanya College today and demanded that letters of permanent suspension be issued to any student who expresses support for terrorism.
